The Student Organization for Academic Readiness (SOAR) began as a school-based club dedicated to helping students achieve academic excellence through peer support and mentorship. What started as a local initiative has grown into a movement — empowering students to teach, lead, and learn from one another.

At its core, SOAR believes in the power of community. Through peer tutoring, leadership development, and real-world engagement, SOAR in Schools fosters confidence, intellectual curiosity, and communication skills that prepare students for success both in and beyond the classroom.

The Student Organization for Academic Readiness (SOAR) is dedicated to empowering students to achieve academic excellence and personal growth by fostering a supportive and collaborative community. Our mission is to strengthen confidence, leadership, and intellectual curiosity through peer tutoring, where students can both teach and learn; public speaking opportunities that build communication skills and self-assurance; and engaging discussions with experts and accomplished individuals from diverse fields. By connecting students with mentors, peers, and real-world perspectives, SOAR prepares members not only for academic success but also for lifelong learning, civic engagement, and professional achievement.
